FiberHome is set to showcase its latest technological advancements at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. Under the theme Connecting the Bright Digital Future, the company will present ten innovations aimed at shaping the next era of digital transformation.
From 3rd to 6th March, visitors at the FIRA Gran Via will be able to explore FiberHome’s developments in ultra-efficient infrastructure, AI-driven networks, and next-generation connectivity. The company’s exhibition will highlight advances in optical computing, marine communications, artificial intelligence, and sustainable computing.
Breakthroughs in Optical Networks
Among the key highlights is FiberHome’s optical-computing synergy, which promises a new benchmark in optical networking. The firm will showcase an 8×12 flexible service scheduling network, a DC-optimised optical layer device (COTP-F), and an advanced OTN P2MP all-optical access solution.
FiberHome is also leading innovations in fibre optic technology. Its hollow-core fibre boasts a real-time transmission capacity of over 270 terabits per second, while a 7-core fibre has been deployed in submarine cable projects. A 24-core fibre has also achieved a breakthrough capacity of 5.29 petabits per second, pushing the boundaries of data transmission.
Expanding Global Connectivity
The company’s marine communication solutions will be on display, featuring ultra-stable 400G submarine cable transmission. FiberHome will also highlight the role of 10,000-tonne ocean construction vessels in deploying reliable global connectivity.
On land, the firm’s 50G Passive Optical Network (PON) solution is driving the evolution of 10G access networks. It enables seamless transition to over 100G PON while improving energy efficiency through AI-driven consumption management.
AI and Smart Connectivity
Artificial intelligence is central to FiberHome’s innovations. The company’s AI full-stack solution is designed to improve network efficiency, increasing resource utilisation by 75% while reducing operational costs by 30%.
In the smart home and enterprise sector, FiberHome’s Fibre-to-the-Room (FTTR) technology offers an improved user experience. The system enhances Wi-Fi roaming success rates by 41% and provides a more stable wireless connection, thanks to an innovative antenna design. Additionally, its FTTR-B solution includes six-layer security protection for enhanced digital safety.
Sustainable and Smart Infrastructure
FiberHome is also pioneering green computing with its dual liquid cooling technology. By integrating cold plate and immersion cooling, the system achieves a 40% reduction in energy consumption, supporting sustainable data centres.
Meanwhile, the company’s Optical Footprint 1.0 solution introduces intelligent network management. Using RFID technology, it reduces resource waste by 30% and cuts operational costs by 20%.
In the transport sector, FiberHome’s 5G private networks and optical sensing technologies are being implemented in urban mobility. The company’s smart transportation system enhances efficiency by 50% for subways, 15% for railways, and 20% for highways.
