Real Chemistry, a leading name in integrated healthcare marketing and advertising, has officially launched ROOM42, a centralized internal production hub designed to streamline creative collaboration and enhance production efficiency. Spearheaded by Jill Landaker Grunes, an experienced production expert and executive at 21GRAMS, ROOM42 aims to transform clients’ visions into meticulously crafted realities.
Drawing inspiration from “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy,” where “42” represents the answer to life’s fundamental questions, ROOM42 promises to deliver a comprehensive suite of production services that seamlessly integrates with Real Chemistry’s existing capabilities. This new production powerhouse consolidates the firm’s diverse talent pool, which includes photographers, editors, animators, sound engineers, illustrators, and print production artists, into one unified entity capable of realising virtually any creative concept.
The talent team at ROOM42 extends from Real Chemistry’s acclaimed advertising division, 21GRAMS, known for its award-winning projects. Over the years, this team has collaborated on campaigns that have received prestigious accolades, including Cannes Lions, CLIO, MM+M, and D&AD Pencil awards. The newly established production house will continue to support client and strategy teams across Real Chemistry’s core business, while also providing new direct-to-client services. These services will feature fixed and transparent pricing, designed to disrupt traditional billing models prevalent in the agency landscape.
Jill Landaker Grunes, Chief Production Officer and Head of ROOM42, emphasised the importance of client feedback in shaping the new production model. “We listened to our clients and recognised the need to reimagine a solution that enables us to deliver fully produced work to market more swiftly and at scale, without compromising cultural relevance or creativity,” she stated. Grunes highlighted that the centralized production model will foster innovation, streamline processes, and ultimately reduce turnaround times while enhancing the quality of creative output.
ROOM42’s flexible framework is tailored to assist clients with budget and project management, all while upholding the high-quality, dynamic creative deliverables that define Real Chemistry’s work. Clients will now have the option to engage with production either through existing account support teams or directly with ROOM42, catering to both project-based needs and ongoing campaigns.
Frank Mazzola, Chief Creative Officer at Real Chemistry and Co-Founder of 21GRAMS, praised the new model as a reflection of the company’s commitment to evolving with the healthcare landscape. “We craft and deliver distinctive and impactful stories, always prioritising our clients’ needs throughout the creative process,” he said. “This initiative embodies our core value of ‘Evolve, Always,’ showcasing our dedication to providing the exceptional, high-touch customer service that clients expect from Real Chemistry and 21GRAMS while adapting swiftly to the changing healthcare ecosystem.”
With the introduction of ROOM42, Real Chemistry positions itself to offer clients an enhanced experience in creative production, ensuring that innovative storytelling remains at the forefront of its services.
